Maui Lani is at the heart of some of Maui's best golf and is home to The Dunes at Maui Lani golf course, the No. 10-ranked course in Hawaii, according to GOLFWEEK. Also within 15 minutes from Maui Lani is the Maui Country Club, Waiehu Municipal G.C., and Sandalwood G.C.

But golf is not the only game in town for the residents of Maui Lani; there are also a number of the best surfing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, wind-and-kite-surfing beaches in the world-all located within 15 minutes from the entrance to Maui Lani.

War Memorial Stadium, host of the globally-televised annual Hula Bowl college all-star football game, is also home to many of Central Maui's Pop Warner and High School football teams. The field, which is surrounded by Maui's finest quarter-mile track, is also used for Central Maui's top track and field events, with its grandstand seating capable of accommodating thousands of spectators.

The Iron Miyahara Baseball Stadium is located next to the War Memorial Stadium, and within the same complex is a County Aquatic Center with a 50-meter pool and its own grandstand seating. There are also tennis courts, a half-pipe for skateboarders, and a full-length soccer field all located within walking distance from these major facilities at Ke`opulani County Park.

Cyclists and runners alike can enjoy safe, wide-open roadways, many of which have limited traffic. One of Maui's most popular bike routes is around the West Maui Mountains. The Jim Stuart Memorial bike race takes place each year, when cyclists from all over compete along one of Maui's most scenic and challenging routes, located less than a mile away from Maui Lani's entrance.

The Maui Marathon, a fall classic, always begins at the Queen Ka`ahumanu Shopping Center, just two minutes away from Maui Lani. Whether one is seeking to bike or run on hilly terrain, or just take a stroll on a flat easy walkway, Maui Lani has it all.
